STRATEGIC PLAN
We strive to support our students in achieving their educational goals by strengthening their self-esteem, confidence, and critical thinking skills through a collaborative and student-centered approach. Since 2019, our school has partnered with the international psychological, pedagogical, and coaching company Wisefull, which provides professional training, assessments, and career guidance for students. Based on assessment results, career counselors conduct individual career planning meetings with parents of students in Grades 9–11. In addition, through our cooperation with organizations such as Be Global and Nova Education, we support students in gaining admission to prestigious universities around the world.

ACTION PLAN
Our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Action Plan reflects our commitment to providing an inclusive, values-based educational environment that respects individual differences, ensures equal opportunities, and fosters a strong sense of belonging for every member of our school community. Guided by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan and aligned with the national Spiritual Revival framework for the 21st century, our approach integrates academic excellence with moral, cultural, social, and emotional development. Through this plan, we aim to nurture responsible, ethical, and globally aware individuals prepared to contribute positively to society.
Our educational concept is built upon the goals and principles established by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Spiritual Revival doctrine. These principles emphasize competitiveness, pragmatism, respect for national identity, appreciation of knowledge, ethical conduct, evolutionary development, and conscientious citizenship. This framework ensures that diversity and inclusion are rooted in both national values and global perspectives.
The school has adopted a comprehensive Values-Based Education model that prioritizes students’ personal, emotional, social, and intellectual growth. Education extends beyond the classroom and is reinforced through structured extracurricular activities that promote cooperation, mutual respect, fairness, and empathy, supporting the holistic development of every learner.
To systematically embed equity and inclusion into daily school life, the school implements a two-year educational cycle focused on 18 core values, including patriotism, respect, cooperation, responsibility, honesty, diligence, humility, justice, health, courage, generosity, perseverance, empathy, ethics, self-improvement, and cleanliness. Each month, a specific value is selected and approved by school leadership and responsible committees and integrated into lessons, assemblies, and school-wide initiatives.
Value-based actions are carried out on a monthly and weekly basis through explanatory sessions, educational activities, and inclusive events. These initiatives actively involve students, teachers, administrative staff, support services, and parents, ensuring that DEI principles are practiced across the entire school community. Activities are reviewed monthly to assess impact and inform future planning.
Each class is supported by a class teacher and a tutor who serve as daily mentors and play a key role in students’ personal and academic development. This mentorship structure ensures close monitoring, emotional support, and the promotion of positive behavior and inclusive attitudes.
To ensure equitable access to learning, the School Support Program provides targeted assistance for students with learning difficulties, helping them build confidence and develop independent study skills. Support includes individualized guidance from the school psychologist, academic assistance from subject teachers, and structured mentoring within the classroom environment.
The school invests in continuous professional development for teachers and parents through training and coaching programs delivered in partnership with Wisefull. These programs strengthen inclusive teaching practices and enhance collaboration between home and school.
Equity also includes meeting the needs of academically gifted learners. The school provides advanced preparation programs for Olympiads and project-based competitions, ensuring that high-achieving students are challenged, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
All DEI-related activities are reviewed at the end of each month. Outcomes are documented, letters of appreciation are issued when appropriate, and preventive or explanatory measures are implemented as needed. This reflective process ensures accountability, continuous improvement, and long-term sustainability of the DEI Action Plan.

HISTORY
Almaty High School for Girls is a non-profit private school operating under the umbrella of the BILIM ORDA Foundation, formerly known as KATEV, which has been contributing to education across Kazakhstan since the early 1990s.
Our journey began in 1993 as the Kazakh-Turkish Lyceum for Girls in Talgar, following the unification of the Almalybak KTL for Girls. In 2000, the school was officially recognized as a non-governmental educational institution. On August 27, 2012, the Almaty Kazakh-Turkish Lyceum for Girls relocated to its purpose-built campus in Almaty and received its state license from the Department of Education Control of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Today, Almaty High School for Girls is dedicated to nurturing each student’s potential through high-quality, rigorous education. Our curriculum is designed to inspire a love of learning, encourage independent and critical thinking, and prepare students to become responsible, purposeful, and productive members of society.
Guided by the words of the First President of Kazakhstan, N. Nazarbayev—emphasizing ambition, patriotism, and service—we aim to raise confident young women through strong academic preparation and holistic social development, empowering them to contribute meaningfully to their nation and the world.
